Description
Maria Salomea Skłodowska-Curie was an outstanding Polish-French scientist, specializing in experimental physics and physical chemistry. Known as a double Nobel Prize winner, she won Nobel Prizes in both fields. In 1891, she left the Kingdom of Poland and went to Paris, where she studied at the Sorbonne and later began her scientific work.
