Description
Chris Norman, born in 1950, is a British artist best known as the frontman for the 1970s band Smokie and later as a solo artist. He gained popularity for his distinctive raspy vocals on "Living Next Door to Alice" and his 1986 solo hit "Midnight Lady." He has sold over 20 million records, blending elements of soft rock with pop, and remains active in the music industry.
