Ignacy Jan Paderewski
Description
Ignacy Jan Paderewski (1860–1941) was a distinguished Polish virtuoso pianist, composer, independence activist, and politician. A renowned artist, he used his fame to strive for a free Poland during World War I. He served as Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs (1919), was one of the architects of independence, and signed the Treaty of Versailles.
