Description
Józef Klemens Piłsudski was a prominent politician and independence activist who held a number of key positions in Polish history. He was the Chief of State of Poland in 1918–1922 and Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Army in 1918. In 1920, he was awarded the title of the first Marshal of Poland, and then served as Prime Minister in 1926–1928 and again in 1930.
